Is there a good website to get ratings for the different brands of very expensive hearing aids? - consumer report hearing aids

Between 1300 and $ 4500 for the headphones, I can nowhere be found to compare different brands. Consumer Reports has not done a comparison

Yes, brands, there are several. However, each brand, often a model 1000 $ 2000 $ model, etc. 4000 has a U.S. dollar model with a helmet is really not much difference between brands. Every otologist is their "Favorites" from the manufacturer on the basis of who, how much experience they have with their products. It is always good, familiar with something is to go to the ear doctor because they know more about what works and what does not work with these products. My advice is to not see an audiologist, a specialist in hearing aids. Audiologists at least a master, if not the title of doctor. Audiologists use of hearing aids from leading manufacturers. My favorites are Widex, Phonak, Starkey and the response. Other major manufacturers Oticon, Siemens, Unitron, and Rexton. Stay away from places that are their own brands and a major manufacturer not listed above.

Why do you need a comparison? Your hearing care professional will be able to say, this headset works best for your hearing loss and why some others do not. There is no way to really believe that they are designed for certain types of hearing loss, you must tell your hearing care professional, must be what's best for your hearing loss. Hearing aids are not like cars or washing machines, if you can prove that routine things as they are adapted to each person and some are only available for certain types of deafness.
